A poem by me.
Ice burned in her chest
a concept to great for her to grasp.
Those eyes she had come to love,
burning holes into her soul,
would never see their favorite color again.

Tears bit her eyes.
Thousands of smiles,
thousands of days,
billions of words
all left undone, a story unfinished.

Grief pounding in her head.
Trying its best to fix the crumbling mess.
All the plans, gone in an instant.
An internal Earthquake
fated to last a lifetime.
