Just when I think I have climbed the highest peak
I find yet another mountain that I must complete.
Troubles have been many throughout my life
I never give up, seems I just handle the strife.

One thing after the other the problems persist
I face each one with bravery and I must insist
that you raise the bar higher or I won't try at all.
For what purpose is a hurdle that is not very tall?

I have faced the anguish of sickness and pain,
the passing of loved ones that in graves we have lain..
Hunger and helplessness, I have felt those things too.
So keep raising the bar, It's the right thing to do.

We need to have trials in our life to make us fit
for the place we will go when the last hurdle is hit.
Keep trying my friends to set a much higher goal
When you are done with life here, it might save your soul.
