A vignette I wrote for a "One sentence, whole story" prompt that I was assigned.
         They sat beneath the ever drifting cherry blossoms and the ever engulfing night sky and thought about all the loathing they held in their heart for one another as they acted like lovers but beat each other in the privacy of their home, him with his fists and her with her words, and they fought and fought until their hearts turned black and as they sat beneath the cherry tree and swore on each their own life to kill the other before dawn brought the sun up on rosy orange fingers.
