4th poem for NaPoWriMo. I wrote this one several years ago.
The Promise

Time passes by
As we laugh and we cry
But count each moment as dear

As we go through each day
We should be thankful and pray
For the time we've been given here

We don't really know
Where life's travels may go
But one thing we know is true

Count each blessing as dear
And have no fear
For God has promised to always love you
