Is their nothing humans cannot turn to their own destruction?

What if bombs were beachballs?
We'd lob them, destroy sand castles
Split sand from sand, like human particles
To be dashed against the sea floor

We'd play catch
Stretch our arms wide, welcome our destruction
Then we could play sandcastles in heaven
Build a kingdom with whisps of cloud
There'd be no death, no suffering

Until the scientists found the bomb
