A poem about the joys of outside
You don't know what you're missing
By staying inside all day.
That's why you're parents say
"Why not just go out and play?"
You can watch TV while you're inside
But doesn't that get boring?
When outside you might just see
An eagle that is souring
Video games can be fun
But after a while it gets dull
You'll get more excitement on the beach
By chasing some seagulls.
Sure, you can have a beer at home
But where's the fun in that?
Why don't you go down to a bar
Find a friend and just chat
You don't know what you're missing
By staying inside all day
So why don't you take my advice
Just go outside and play
