The stars have disappeared 19 lines 105 words
The stars have disappeared
I wonder where they went.

It's like one moment they were here
And the next they were gone.

Without the stars I cannot make wishes,
There will be no children around the world
whispering that magic chant.

Star light, star bright
first star I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Have the wish
I wish tonight.

No stars will be able to help lost wayfarers
find their path home.

And the cloud babies will be forever sad
their star friends have gone.

So dear star,
where have you gone?
Please come back, and give us your light!
