I can’t really tell if I’m ready to grow up.
I grew up in the same town since I was eight. Although it is a small town and has little to do, I still took pride in this town. I had the same friends since I was eight and made new friends along the way. I know every street and place in this town and yet I feel sad and empty that one day I will be saying farewell to the place I called home for so long. Not only will I be saying goodbye to this town, but also the people. The people is what made this town enough for me. Each and one of them had a cordial personality that it made impossible not to like them. They take care of others as if you were their own blood. And now I will be soon leaving, I’m approaching my last year in high school and I fully intend to live every moment I have left before I leave. I don’t know what my future holds, but whatever I choose I hope I do myself justice.
