Dog or Cat? That's why opinions matter when it comes to family decisions.

Dog or cat,

Nobody in my family can figure out which one to adopt.

Big brother,

Barry,

Didn’t want a dog

But big sister

Abby wants a dog.

Mom thinks it’ll be just a fuss,

‘Cause she thinks it’ll just be a mess.

“Don’t adopt a pet at all!”

She keeps on

Screaming

Screaming

Screaming.

Although, Dad think cats would be really nice

Over Abby’s choice.

I want a bird,

‘Cause then I could talk to her on day one

Two

Three

And forever.

No dog from Barry

Yes dog from Abby

No pet from mom

Yes cat from dad

And yes bird

From me.

The whole house is messy, now.

Not even quick-thinking dad

Could figure out

Whether we should get a pet

At all.

Everybody knows that having pets would be nice

But having to adopt a pet

Is like rolling dice.

“What if s/he doesn’t like us?”

“What if s/he isn’t safe?”

“What if Abby has a hidden allergy?”

Oh, “what if” this “what if” that,

Worries trouble us all.
