Mr. J Hall

At times the world seems grim,
for most, it's sink or swim,
but then there's folks like him
who haul us from the brim.

I may be rather dim
but know we all love him,
inspiring Kate and Kim
and little Tom and Tim.

His whiskers need a trim,
he isn't really slim,
but he don't need no gym.
Thank God he's not too prim.

I'll go out on a limb -
we all look up to him.
He's clever to the rim.
Of course, his name is … Mr. Hall.
