Brief poem
By day, light showers everyone.
Everyone can survive and everyone can live.
The police can protect the peace in the public.

But what of the private?

Who can protect the minds of people when exposed to the dark?
Who helps those who feel pain, pain not visible to the naked eye?
Who stops the swinging man, who is a disgrace to most people?
Who comforts the crying woman who couldn't stop him herself?

By Night, when the whole of the world floats soundly into darkness.
No one is safe if a predator is out and about.
It's safer for you to stay inside and ignore the happenings inside the dark alley.

But what if you ventured out?
What if one man just steps out into the night and sees the beauty through the dark?
What if he looks down the alley and sees the ugly?

What if....

What if he walks away? Just as everyone else did.
What if he just left and ignored all the ugly?
What if he let the world burn and still saw beauty?

What if...

But what if he doesn't?
What if he storms down that alley and stops the ugly, got rid of it? Getting rid of the ugly, he finds beauty underneath.
What if he helps beauty and takes her into safety.

What if...

If only life happened like that.
If only people realized...

Beauty is always present, even in the dark.
You just have to be brave and courageous,
To remove the ugly,
And be a Savior to the world.
