A description of a beautiful Christmas Eve by a little boy who receives a gift from Santa.

Out during midnight, where all lay asleep,
A feeble jingling sound awakens a child from sleep.
He opens his eyes and through the window sees a spark,
He thinks, 'It can neither be a cracker nor a lark'.

Convinced by the thought of him being in a dream state,
he goes back to sleep where he thinks of his mate,
and then he was suddenly awakened by the rustling of trees,
and opens the window to feel the breeze.

Having heard a sound from his living room,
He rushes to the fireplace, and through the chimney, sees something go vroom.
He turns on the light to see what it was,
But then interrupts himself with a short pause.

"Could it be Santa on his sleigh?" he questioned himself with glee,
and with sheer excitement rushes to his tree.
He searches under the tree expecting his gift,
And there it was, packed carefully was cardboard gift kit.
