Something i wrote a while ago
Theres a person looking back at me,
One i cant comprehend,
With features exact to mine,

Who is this person before me,
Who doesnt say a word,
Watching me,

Are they waiting for a moment,
Priming for attack?,
Striking when my back is turned,
Then slinking out of sight,

What if they want to swap,
To be free, to live, to love,

Hes there when im laying in bed,
But when i fall asleep,
What if instead,
He can finally be himself,

Walking, talking, planning, scheming,
Trying to get free,
Till that fatefull day when he becomes me,

I awake in a strange room, yet not so strange it seems,
Everything is back to front,
At a loss i look round,

Seeing only one window, no door can be found,
Its a dream i think,
Il awake pretty soon,

I hear a knocking, knock knocking on the wall,
In the window i see the other me,
But also a door as well,

I scream and shout, but to no avail,
It seems i cant be seen or heard,
But as he is leaving,
He looks at me and smiles,
“Enjoy your new reflection, because il enjoy mine
