The old wild West is alive and well on TV. Being a cowboy or cowgirl is tough.
I asked my parents to take me to the rodeo
On the day my father had free
I'd love to see the cowboys
Like the ones I see on TV.

I would like to see their horses
And how fast that they could go
The beauty of their movement
Made each cowboy look like a natural pro.

The cowgirls raced around 3 barrels
Little girls who knew their horse just as well
They sat in the saddle so nicely
And the winner's name was Adele

Wrestling steers, riding wild cattle could be dangerous
Taming bucking horses could break many bones
But to men who wanted to be a cowboy,
Was something they could not postpone.
