Reflection on depression coming back to have an effect on my life.
Here you are creeping up again
Never having left, just taking rest
Boa Constrictor wrapping around my chest
Holding my breath I wait for what's next

My stomach turns remembering our last dance
Laying in bed wanting for you to just pass
Watching the days go by weeks at a time
No way to extricate myself without a crime

Knowing you bided your time
Lingering in my mind
Not knowing how you'd rise
Having been chemically baptized

Tears pooling up behind my eyes, waiting
Rivers blocked with determination, waning
Trying to keeping you constrained, straining
Reflecting on the good days, disintegrating
