Rembering the fallen
Rememberance

I am told to remember you
Although I never knew you
I was not there, to witness
The things you did
The things you saw
The things you remember
I am told to remember you

History records your efforts and feats
Unknown and unnamed to me
You gave and saved
So I can be who I am today.
Diluted qualities and integrities
I doubt we have the heroes that you where, today.

I am told to remember, lest we forget!
My freedoms today
Are the result of all your yesterday's
I will not forget
I will remember you.
Thank you!
