During a walk, notions of reality are challenged.
Reflections on Reality

You begin a walk in the woods,
and through trees bowed like old women,
a blood sacrifice
stains the snow.

There are witches, yes.
Warlocks too.
Demons even.

You may be scared silent,
but the truth is,
you witness something
deep, unending, holy.

All of this is as it should be,
deep-rooted, like a tree.
