Love is found on a snowy night
The sun has shone and the sun has set.
Time and time in my mind I've heard,
"not yet."

Night has come and chilled my bones.
O'er horizons of pastel blue, my answer came,
" the time is now."
How I hope she feels the same.

For joy I leap, and fall upon the earth.
Like a child, I lay upon the snow.
A kick and a shove, and a silent " thank you,"
to those watching from above.

On that night the blizzard fell.
As I got to my feet, I thought how we met,
so soft and gentle, like the flakes that fell.

Thoughts of love stir the heart.
Although we're apart, I'd like her to know,
she'll always be my angel in the snow.
