Entry for the Writer's Cramp 18 dec 2022
This Sunday before Christmas
also known as the Fourth Advent

I'll be taking the day off
even if I can't.

Sundays are for my family
and to clean my home

to do our grocery shopping
before the ice-rain comes

Tomorrow is for meetings
and taking care of my mom

that is the life of a shop keeper
councillor, care taker and mother

sometimes I ask myself; why bother...
