The first line of each stanza is an acronym of life - the poem a cynical commentary of it
Let insects feel ecstatic:
They have no need of gold
Ignorant to all dogmatic,
Their young unbothered by cold.

Laying intoxicated - feeling emancipated,
Waiting for the new night’s moon.
The politician stood-up, inebriated,
And sneered at the social monsoon.

Lactating in a foreign embassy,
Whilst bleeding the milk of joy,
And reflecting your Party’s disloyalty,
Society: your leader’s toy.

Luxurious interests fragment erratically
Whilst our newborn babies drown.
And the ancient forest sways frantically
As it’s hacked by the reckless clown.

Levitating ingeniously, furtively erotic,
Greeting the eager trainee,
But the Minister proved too neurotic:
He couldn’t even decide on his tea.

Lucid incompetents fawn egoistically,
As refugees are forced to swim.
Governments sneer uncaringly,
The boy knows the future is grim.
