Wildlife Revolt Neuvain
Wildlife revolts writer’s cramp
These days it seems that wild life
Have all decided to rise up
Screaming they too have a right to life
Watching the world burn up
The animals drink, enjoying the nightlife
In the morning ,they attack
Chanting, " all humans must die"
Humans waiting for the blowback
While the animals lie.
Prompt for March 4:
Your form to play with is "The Neuvain."
The scheme of the neuvain (ABABACDCD) is built up out of a quintain , followed by a quatrain. You can see it in the changing rhyme – the quintain has the scheme ABABA and the quatrain CDCD. The first one who used this form was Charles d’ Orleans.
