I haven't got a clue.
I doubt if I will ever know
but still I have to try,
‘cause if I never find the truth
I’ll always wonder why.

I don’t know even where to start.
I haven’t got a clue.
I guess if I were not so dumb
I’d know just what to do.

And so I sit here stupidly;
I’m lost, for goodness sake.
The walls are closing in on me.
My head now starts to ache.

How did I get into this mess?
I can blame only me.
But now I have to suck it up
and solve this mystery.

But, no, I have no great ideas.
I’m baffled and confused.
I’m like the victim of a crime
who’s been somehow accused.

Oh, what the hell, I’ll never know.
And who cares anyway?
Hey, maybe it will come to me
before I pass away.

Or maybe I will never know.
I’ll live with this sad curse.
Who knows? I could be better off.
The truth might be far worse.
