Interesting take on how to view that sign. If animals really could communicate like that, I'm sure "No Trespassing" would be their statement. As you said, they were there first. The indigenous people before us did not believe anyone could own the land. You do have me thinking about this.
Boy you make friends all over. First the guys with the flashing lights and now at the intersection. Must be fun to live where you do. Very amusing. (We have a lot of four-way stop signs where I live and it can get interesting at times.)
Been playing Jimmy Buffett for the last several days. I've been to three of his concerts and had a blast each time. Every picture of him shows him with a smile. You don't have to drink to have a good time singing along with him.
So far I have only read Spuds and the article on Mercury. Spuds was entertaining and you taught me about the dangers of mercury. I enjoyed reading both and will continue to read more. Thanks.
This is interesting. You divided your Christmas memories (and probably your whole life) into three categories - your childhood, your life before your mother died, and the period after your mother's death. This, of course, tells us how very important your mother was to you. In many ways you were very lucky. But the loss of your mother was so hurtful.
This got me thinking a lot. My mother died when I was seven and I don't have any memory of her at all. Cherish those memories you have. They enrich your life.
