An introductory to a short story.
Where am I?

I am wearing jeans and a denim hoodie while searching for an answer. This is a void—nothing but black space. I could see that there was a white door, so I opened it. This is what spring must look like, with the flowers blooming. The air is cold, and the sun is shining. Where I come from, there is no spring—only rainy and sunny seasons.

Am I dreaming, or is this real?

It is difficult to determine. It seems too realistic to be a dream; my dreams are vivid, but this is different. If this is real, how can I be in such a place without booking a ticket? I need more than my bank balance to purchase a single key—typical humor for someone with no job, leaving law school to pursue a dream career.

On my father’s side, they prefer us to take up a degree in Medicine or Law or be an Accountant. Being a professor is also a noble job to them. Most relatives are nurses on my mother's side, while others are professors. The career that I am pursuing is different from those mentioned above.

I am not only physically lost, but I am also mentally exhausted.

Oh, look, here is a pretty dandelion! I make a wish and hear a strange noise, so I follow where the sound comes from.

Note: What do you think? This is my first short story, will write more chapters for this short story. :)
