In Baha'u'llah
Confession of Faith

O Pen of Glory!
I felt the Holy Spirit flowing
through the words
of your epistles.

Awe-struck
my soul fell prostrate to the ground
begging forgiveness.

O Lord of Hosts!
In the verses of your tablets
I heard trumpets echoing
taps and reveille.

I saw
a new heaven
and a new earth rolled out,
with a resurrected humanity.
