Spirit in the Night

He is now
just another
spirit in the night,
unclaimed, unidentified.
He died in a Harper #3 Phillies shirt,
George jeans,
10.5 sneakers.
He was once someone's son,
perhaps someone's lover,
not just a body in a pond.
Not just a spirit in the night.
