LIFE IS BRIEF (54 words)
The devastation of the earthquake left many dead,
They looked for their belongings in the garbage can, behind the roadhouse, and rubble left ahead.
Barking dogs join people searching for their beloved under the debris,
Bereft of small conversation as everyone is left with numb feelings of disbelief and grief,
Life is so brief.
