A reflection on lonely flowers
Summer left and the garden wept down all the leaves for her
Summer is gone, hoping you survive though
Hoping you survive
the envy of the grass blades
the burning torches at the gates
the freezing winds of the squares
Hoping we catch our eyes once again!

Don't you worry why birds flutter with torn wings
Don't you worry why they get
eye to eye with many passengers
face to face with unkind winds.
May be broken
May be lame,
Hoping you get back where you left once again!

Toronto is cold, I made peace with these walls though
Outside is cold, avalanches scratch flowers' face
The glittery roads melt any falling snowflake
In the south too,
Lakes are filled with red color
My frozen flower!
Hoping you survive
the freezing snow on your shoulders
Hoping you don't get plucked by cruel hands in the square
