Eight line poem
Prompt: There is a time for departure even when there’s no certain place to go.” – Tennessee Williams

“The web of our life is of a mingled yarn, good and ill together.” (All’s Well That Ends Well) – Shakespeare

Some days were up and others down.
A mixture of good times and bad.
Some days it was hard not to frown,
And others we smiled and were glad.
We always had each other to love.
But these things often come to an end.
We used to fit like a hand in a glove
But it’s over, let’s not us pretend.
