Rain, rain, go away.
Rain, rain, go away.
Come again some other day.

Hey, weatherman, what do you say?
Why do you make it wet and gray?
Bring out the sun; please let it stay
and dry things up so I can play.
The sun is warm and bright and gay.
Why can’t it always be that way?

Rain, rain, go away.
Here comes the sun – hip-hip-hooray!
