At the funeral
The riders trot, the marchers salute
The band plays along
Not a dry eye is seen
Among all of the throng.

From royals to the humblest
Each one bows low
The monarch has left this earth
Her farewell is with pomp and show.

Is she looking down from Heaven?
Is she smiling at the multitude?
Does she feel their lasting love
Does she know of their gratitude?

She is one with God now
But she'll always be among
Friends, family, from near and far
Whose voices unite now in song.

She has gone but she is here
In hearts and minds and souls
Her memory lives on and on
Her love forever rules.
