In Southern Oregon
The word spread among the animals
That their hated overlords
Were no more due to COVID 2025.

The animals began cheering
Dancing and singing
The “which is dead.”

Not mourning
The human creatures
That had enslaved them.

Killed thcow'sate them
Stole the cows milk
And the chicken’s eggs
Using dogs
as their thug Enforcers.

22 dancing cows
Led the parade on the ranch
Which turned into a long conga line.

Soon joined by the other animals
The horses, the pigs, the chickens
Even the feral cats,
and dogs joined in.

Howling at the wolf moon
Shone in the sky

On the day
That humanity died.
