Who are you when the party's over?
She was wild and reckless that girl

Always the center of attention

She was all about fun and parties

And never the best of intentions.

Her weekends started Wednesday

With two drinks at eight o’ clock

Next thing she knew four days had gone by

When hungover she slept like a rock.

At every party she cause a scene

Only wanting to have a good time

After downing her tequila shots

To the table tops she’d climb.

She never had a care in the world

She was the essence of impulsive youth

Hands in the air to the music she’d dance

Never wanting to confront the truth.

Only there at the bar she could just let go

And feel a sense of release

She could drown out her sorrows and not have any problems

Hoping to make it home in one piece.

By herself she was untamed and free

Every choice she made was her own

Too bad she only likes parties and fun

In the end she was always alone.
