He sits and watches it all day.
He has one of those doorbells.
You know the ones I mean.
If anyone gets close to it
then they can soon be seen.

Well, this has got his fancy.
It is his latest toy.
He sits and watches it all day;
he’s like a little boy.

There goes his next-door neighbor.
Oh, she passed by before.
He wonders where she’s going now.
Perhaps just to the store.

And there’s that other couple
out for their morning walk.
They always pass by at this time
as they just walk and talk.

This gadget is so handy.
He stares down at his phone
and no one knows he’s watching them.
He sits there all alone.

Of course there are some drawbacks.
He never leaves that chair.
He hasn’t eaten in three days.
He won’t go anywhere.

He hasn’t figured out yet
how mobile he could be.
Yeah, he could watch from any place;
this app will let him see.

Well, this guy has some problems.
Technology is one.
But that’s okay, he doesn’t mind.
He’s having lots of fun.

So now he’s buying clothing,
collectables and more.
Yeah, just to watch the FedEx guy
deliver to the door.
