My Rainbow Bunny

title: My Rainbow Bunny

Sam Jones was a con artist
Living to play the long con,
A grifter through and through.
Until one day he met his match.

On a holiday trip to the Emerald Islands
In search of the mystical pot of gold
At the end of the rainbow.

He met in a bar
A strange-looking fellow
Who told him tall tales
About the “rainbow bunny.”

Who stood gaurd over
The pot of gold
Under the watchful eye
Of the mad leprechaun.

Sam fell for the con.
And went with his new friend,
Deep into the Irish countryside.

They saw a giant rabbit
At the end of the bridge,
Demanding “a toll.”

Sam paid the rabbit
The mad leprechaun appeared.
Looked at Sam,

And told Sam,

“You are not welcome here.
My rainbow bunny does not like you.”

Sam woke up in a hospital
After suffering
From a massive heart attack.

He saw a note by his bed

“We warned yah
Never mess with my rainbow bunny”
And those were the last words
Sam saw before he died.’
