Visions merge in the mirror
When I look in the mirror,
Who do I see?
Is it you?
Or is it me?

Traces of you still remain
For our hair is always the same
Your eyes once shone so bright
Mine have darkened like the night.

Time indeed has not been kind,
For the girl with an open mind
Is now a woman touched by death
Holding onto every breath

She has loved and she has lost
In life has paid the ultimate cost
Tell her what it is you've learned
Before her heart is undoubtedly burned

You made a choice at age fifteen,
Could not see the in-between.
He stood waiting to unite,
But you had given up the fight.

Here's your chance to start anew
Erase mistakes you can undo
Tell her, tell her, let her see
Who she's truly meant to be.
