What was the cause of the attack in the castle
Oliva turned to face Jules as he began to walk down the stairs from their room, he was

reasonably sure that the being responsible for the attack on their King would be powerful

enough to do whatever he pleased. They were afraid of what was happening there. If the being

caught wind that they were responsible for this to have happened. Their gooses may be cooked.

A bolt from a crossbow flew past Oliva, caught Jules in the shoulder drove him into the

The queen's chamber was where Sir Grey was standing at the moment trying to attack the

deamon which caused two bears to appear here and attack the soldiers that came here to destroy

the woman who summoned the deamon. They were attacked by the female mage using her magic,

and the deamon using his.

The room was large, it had a large bed in the center of the room. There were bodies of

soldiers strewn across the floor. There were more of them coming to slay if not slay but to hinder the

advancement which this woman and deamon had created. They knew, that they could ill afford this

from happening here. They were being killed by the instance.

Sir Grey realized what happened here. He told the soldiers to get the Bishop here as it was

a mage that they were facing. The other being was a deamon or so, he believed. So, he sent for the

Bishop to come here and fight the deamon, he was not versed in fighting one of them, He did not

know what he could use to stop a deamon. He was fearful that they would lose to it.

The queen walked back to her chamber. She brought her hand to her face to keep the scent

from entering her nose and mouth. It made her stomach recoil, she gasped There was a scent of

burning flesh that filled the chamber, When she looked at the smoke she saw a figure within the

smoke, it looked a lot like the deamon who was in her chamber thanks to the woman who entered

her chamber, by her own admittance.

Blood covered the floor was spilled from her soldiers bodies as they tried to defend her room

from these two beings.

The body of the Bishop lay on the floor or rather his garments were there. Smoke and fire

were where his staff had fallen.Sir Grey noticed his cloak being on the floor. There was no body

there to be found, he knew that this body was that of the bishop by his staff being there beside

his cloak. Sir Grey saw the staff to become a smoking mass of ash.

Sir Grey said,"Get me a priest. The bishop has died in this room."

A guard turned on his heel to run toward the church.

A priest appeared he looked worried perhaps frightened upon finding his Bishop's garments

there. The priest faltered as he approached the Queen's chamber he looked at the knight on his

knees looking at the cloak that the Bishop was wearing. There was an outline of what must have

been the Bishop staff. But he did not see it. Gently he walked in a crouch to where the knight was

kneeling beside. His hand brushed against Sir Grey's and turned to face him.

The priest's skin was pale, and grew cold as his hand touched Sir Grey's hand. The priest

looked at the garments as they lay there. The priest said. "Where's the Bishop? What happened?"

Tears began to appear in his eyes as he stared at Sir Grey as he knelt beside the garments of the

Bishop.

Sir Grey looked into his tear filled face, as the priest had grasped his leather skirt to kneel

beside the cloak that the bishop had worn. There was a chard pattern of dust on the floor in the

shape of the staff the bishop had held in his hands. he priest said,"Why did he die?" His

face had grown into a scowl. he was trembling as he peered at the outline of the staff.

"He tried to kill a deamon who was here. Thanks to a mage." Sir Grey said as he peered into

the young priest's face, winced as he did this, He felt ill at ease as he said this. He had never seen

magic such as this in all his time. There were rumors that mages could do things such as this, but

he had never encountered anything like this before hand.

There were soldiers of the King drawing themselves up from where they had been thrown

thanks to a spear that a monster had thrown there, The air was filled with earth and stones that

had exploded from the ground to throw soldiers into the air. The soldiers had been hurled from

where they stood. The earth had a deep crevice in the earth where the spear had arrived. Smoke

rose up from this huge indentation there.

The area was a forest, where animals were usually playing and hunting. Now there were two

forces willing to die to possess this region of land. A huge monster had thrown the spear into the

ground where the humans were posed to fight the others supporting this monster throwing the spear

into the earth as well.

The others looked undead, perhaps they were. Portions of skin hung off their bodies as they lifted

their weapons to oppose the humans who fought them. Pieces of their bodies hung by mere threads

of skin.

The monster was three times the size of the biggest man, the human's had seen. His head

was massive, he had fangs for teeth. His eyes were shining and the glowing feature was gold. His

form dwarfed the humans and the others and about his neck was a talisman of a skull whose eyes

burned with an unholy fire. His nails were chipped, black with decay and broken. He wore a lion cloth.

His muscles were huge and his arteries massive,

Where the King had been. The monster who threw the spear into the ground, the staff lay

upright in a deep crevice. The earth that had been there was thrown into the air to shower the earth

with bodies of those who stood on it and around it. The earth was two feet deep, jagged pieces fell

from the air to impale those there. The King was hurled into the air, his body was starved of oxygen.

He fell to the earth, from the fall. His body hit the earth like a droplet of rain from the sky. His head

was the last thing to arrive.

There grew from the wisps of smoke from the spear to see what appeared to be a dragon's

body. The head had high arched eyebrows, was grey in color, the head wide nostrils and a ridge of

bone upon its mouth. The wisps began to lower itself to its creator the spear as it was held in the

hands of a soldier who grasped it after taking it from from its monster.

It looked at the soldier as he reached for his weapon to defend himself from it. His sword

had left his scabbard from his belt. He turned to face it. He swung it into it's face.

The dragon's eyes were elliptical. Its nostrils were half a foot in depth from them it clawed

skyward and it opened its mouth.

The soldier drove his sword into ifs mouth, he saw smoke gently emerge from its maw. The

sword sank into its maw. The sword cut the uvula tore clean through it rose out of its skull. A grey

wisp spilled from it and looked as if it was a fluid instead of a gas that spilled through this hole in its

head. He felt heat consume his hand holding the monster's spear.

It washed over his hand as it held it there. The grey fluid ran over his hand, it felt cold as ice.

He looked at his hand as it ran off his hand to fall onto the earth beneath his feet, He saw droplets to

fall onto the ground. The droplets sped to the ground,

He found he could not move the sword from its maw. It began to move toward the soldier, the

sword tore further through its maw. The gash grew in size and no doubt its depth of penetration of its

maw. The soldier smiled a mite. The pain that his hand was no longer feeling. began to grow in scale.

He dropped the spear onto the body of his king.

The dragon's from grew in size and scale. The dragon reached out with its left hand to close

about the torso of the soldier who grabbed the spear. The soldier tried to evade its hand. The soldier

was caught in its grasp hanging. The dragon began to spit fire from its maw. The flames engulfed him,

The other soldiers began to their weapons to attack the dragon. The dragon lifted its head to

face the other soldiers who were attacking it.

An instant later where the king's body lay, there came an explosion of light had grown to hide

the king from all eyes that fell upon his body. Fire sped into the air from where he lay. The king did

not move from where he lay. There came cracking sounds, lightning flashed from where he lay.

The dragon turned toward the soldiers were attacking it, spreading its wings to make it

appear bigger. The it was thirty feet tall, its wings werre fifty feet high. The wings were like a bat's.

The soldiers drew back as it lookled at them. One of the soldiers charged before it. with his axe

over his shoulder to swing it at him.

It drove its right hand at him, it came at him like a stone from a catapult. It missed his

head and shoulder to collise with the spear as it was drawn toward the dragon. The soldier

froze as the spear snapped in half, tegh shaft was broken just before the edge of it. The

solider reached for his belt to draw up his sword, He trembled as he looked aty iit as it came

toward him. Smoke billowed from its mouth.

He leapt away before the gout of fire roared into his path. He hit the ground and rolled

away from the fire before it came out. He felt the heat from its breath. He was sweatiing from

its heat. He trembled. His skin grew pale.

It reached out to grab him, but its hand strick the ground where he had been, but its

scales, brushed against his side, it tore throughh his skin, beneath his breastplate. It tore off t

the pauldron from that side. The armor hung bt the otherr pauldron, he could barely move

without having it terar lose from his body.

The scales were jagged and sharp enough to slice as well as a scaple. he grit his teeth.

He threw himself at it. The dragon stepped toward him. He dove away. The talons on its hands

were deadly enough on their own. It swung at him.

The breast plate fell off him to arrive on the ground. He toppled from his feet to arrived on his

back, Another man began to turn to ward the dragon , he threw a spear at its back, bounced off its

scales to arrive harmlessly on the ground. Beside the soldier dprawled out on his back, The solider

did not have enough air in this lungs to breath a breath of air to ckear his airway. He lay there afraid

of what he was facing that allowed him to begin his draw a breeathe into his lungs, seeing the dragon

began to advance toward them. It turned its back on the king who lay on the ground.
