The Falcon and the Swift

The worm wants to squirm,
The falcon wants to soar,
The giraffe towers over all,
But I like the swift more.
Doing acrobatics in the sky,
With the grace of a ballerina,
No one asks why,
This example of grace,
Gives such reassurance,
In the struggles we face.
There must be a hand,
That directs this beauty,
One that can understand,
The pain of existence,
And triumph over death,
Championing the resistance.
