Eight line poem
All it took was the blink of an eye
Life was good and so was I.
A slip, a trip, that’s all it’s taken.
Black eyes, and bones a break’n

Reliant now on a pair of crutches
A love/hate friendship has formed.
They let me know I’m in their clutches,
To be aware, stay on my feet, they warned.
