12 line poem

12 lines
Australian summer has now gone,
Leaving behind dying trees.
Soon will come rain to grow the sweet grain,
And the gardens will bloom once again.

Blue skies now hide behind the grey clouds,
Gathering promising rain.
Soon the sweet rain will help grow the grain,
And the farmers will smile once again.

Birds and the bees will find food to eat.
The insects come out to play.
The fields of grain will soak up the rain,
And the circle of life is complete.
