Loneliness from being apart from the one you love
Lost inside the darkness
The cool winds feeling brisk
I gaze upon the water
Longing to kiss your lips

Waves of moonlit water
Splashing upon the shore
Harsh feeling of being alone
And wanting you more and more

The sand engulfs my feet
With each and every step
As loneliness fills my heart
Not knowing what will happen next

Breathing heavy air
Sighs echoing through the wind
Tears cloud my vision
Of being home again

Not a cloud in the sky
On these clear desert nights
Longing for my love
Who has given me new life

Staring into nowhere
Hoping for the better
Remembering when I said goodbye
Realizing it could have been forever
