That can't be bought..

GIFTS

Each morning when I awake
And see the sunlight on the lake
I pause to say a prayer or two
For the gifts He's given me and you.

The gift of sight, that I might see
The beauty that's all around me;
The gift of voice, for I can say
A prayer of thanks to Him today.

The gift of hearing, that I might know
The wonders He created here below.
The gift of life, that I might be
A better person, living free.

I thank God for the ability
To get out and walk in His country;
To be able to work to earn my keep,
The gift of a much needed sleep.

So many things taken for granted here
Given by Him who holds us dear;
If you have the time, just for today
Look around and see, stop and pray.

These gifts cannot be bought or sold,
He's giving freely, to young and old.
And when my life is over and done
His hand I'll take, the final gift won!

His hand is waiting to help us up -
