Love and Sadness
Overrun with chaotic thoughts
Muted by feelings no longer shared
Words don’t pass between us as in the past
Conversations just silences
Sobs cry out unheard
Muffled by the darkness I now reside in
Hope does not seem to linger
Dreams that had been filled with prisms and moonbeams
Plagued by thoughts of you
One song is repeated a broken record inside
“We don’t even talk anymore”
Where is the teasing?
Only brooding remaines
Prayers said laughter dies
All that had been
Has it been forgotten
A sorrowful truth remains
Te amo and day by day it pains me now
Soon it shall be amputated
Nothing can be done
If only I had odio para ti
I wouldn’t feel like my heart is shattering
Pounded upon by the quiet court you keep
Two years cielo mio what has become of it
Just silence and endless tears
