A possibility of our existence
What if we discovered,
that our species was alone?
All things in the galaxy,
we could automatically own.
There would be some speculation
about all the wasted space.
"Why are we only here
in this universal place?"

Maybe we're just experiments
like lab rats in a cage.
Studied by The Scientist,
who as near as he can gauge,
sees research that has faltered,

A trial that has failed.
