Coffee and yard work just don't mix.
My Four Seasons

Seasons come and seasons go,
They all pass to and fro.
For every season, there's work to be done,
I always start out thinking, this could be fun.
So I head out the door, with my chores on a card,
Oh my gosh, just look at this mess out in the yard!

It starts with the Spring, and ends with Winter,
The thought of cleaning, is making me whimper.
But I brush that aside, and breath in some clean air,
Put on my gloves, and pull back my hair.
As I look for my rake, my shovel, and hoe,
Now wouldn't you know it... I have to go!

So I go back inside, to take a pee,
And realize a coffee break is just what I need.

Well Spring has come, and Spring has gone,
It sure didn't stay here very long.
As I peer out the window, and look on my card,
I still see the mess, out in the yard.

But now it's summer, and I'm feeling real fine,
I thought about cleaning, my brain starts to whine.
So I go outside with my chores on my card,
And I say to myself, this can't be too awfully hard.
While I look for my rake, my shovel, and hoe,
Wouldn't you know it... I have to go!

So I go back inside to take a pee,
And I realize a coffee break is just what I need.

So seasons come, and seasons go,
Now it's Fall, wouldn't ya know.
As I peer out the window, and glance at my card,
Now there's even more mess out in the yard!
The trees are blowing, and loosing their mane,
The leaves are dropping, and calling my name.

So I go out side to clean the yard,
The wind is blowing, and to rake could be hard.
Then I look for my rake, my shovel, and hoe,
Now wouldn't you know it... I have to go!

So I go back inside, to take a pee,
And realize a coffee break, is just what I need.

The Fall has gone and now Winter is here,
I pour some eggnog, and begin Christmas cheer.
So Christmas come, and Christmas goes,
And I can still see the mess, but now under the snow.

I said to myself, well I can't do it now,
Cause now all the stuff is stuck to the ground.
It makes me so tired, because I work so hard,
That's why the mess is still in the yard.

Atlast it's Spring, and things are thawing,
The thought of cleaning, is getting annoying.
So I go outside to start my ordeal,
And I notice my flowers, growing to appeal.
But as I look for my rake, my shovel, and hoe,
Gee... wouldn't you know... I have to go!

So I run back inside to take a pee,
And realize a coffee break is just what I need.
