Dainty petals of a delicate rose...

Dainty petals of a delicate rose.
Soft to the touch, and nice to the nose.
Feeling like velvet, deep red to the sight.
Dew drops settle in the dark of the night.
The bright sun rises, a new day to start,
The dew drops shiver, and slowly depart,
Leaving behind just a petal, so sweet.
This makes a rose such a wonderful treat.
