A boy and fathers dark relationship. for contest.

Wretched Insecure little boy,
The fear of an Ominous Father.
He would stagger
Drunk,
From the excess of claret wine.
Coming down on the frightened son,
Breaking bone and bruising flesh.
Each blow to endure.
The naive dream to escape all pain,
As blood spilled life,
And the hurt, the firey hurt,
Raged within.
He no longer tried to plea,
To plead with a monster that
had its own Forbidden tale to bring to light.
But hung. So.
This time fist paused to think,
Would it fall like the inevitble water drop
on the drain?
Would it sink into the Other,
Fall to the earth.
Eyes of colbalt showed thought and feeling.
Sweat trickling through long
jade hair.
The disgusting essence of ethanol
Devoured in that moment of love.
The Saffron in the boy's soul grew
'I love you son.'
The boy knew that all along yet,
All he feared was that hand casting him through the air.
'I know pa. I love you too.'
He began to cry with the father's heart.
It was to much to take,
Their love and their hate.
So father cried too,
Big man though a child at heart,
sank to knees like a wounded animal.
Pain to join with pain.
So.
The process of healing began.
