For the children
Little one I see your tears,
I know you hurt, I feel your fears.
I see the bleak and hopeless path
your life will take this day.
I know your pride will hide the need,
It won't let others pay.
No one can know you suffer so,
they couldn't understand,
this helpless hungry yearning,
tatered spirit, empty hands.
You are not alone, many share the pain.
They cry in places deep inside
locked rooms in hearts remains.
I know that we will find the way
just beyond tomorrow,
to stop the tears, the hurt and fears,
to stop the pain and sorrow.
We'll find the key, unlock the door,
we'll face this road together.
And you shall help me see the world revived,
through your eyes.
