A poetic creation born from the randomness of a dictionary selection.
I love you during your finest moment,
You don’t even know I’m there.
Every breathe to the rhythm of your heart,
To wake you I will not dare.
Such beauty in this woman lying here,
This silent moment is rare.
A nightmare of my last care.

I love you for being so still tonight,
So my love for you can grow.
Although silken sheets conceal your body,
Your face is all of a glow.
If you were to wake and look in my eyes,
You will see my pain and know.
You bestowed this tear that flows.

I love you for the good times we have shared,
Yet resent you for your lies.
Your beauty was there, tangible at best,
But your inner was disguised.
I hope my love will stay here as I go,
For I can no longer cry.
I died when I said goodbye.
