A poem that I wrote for the brother of my boyfriend that was getting married.
Satin Threads

I

The consent of eternal love,
opens the window to your future dreams.
Through the eyes of one another,
the world seems paradise lost.
Trust and respect cannot be missed,
as the key both of you posses.
This love is sealed with a tender kiss,
with a friendship that is more than bliss.

II

If stones cross your path,
carry one another with arms of devotion.
Let the beams of dawn,
warm up your hearts every new day.
As differences appear,
remember a smile is the cure if you disagree.
Life and its troubles,
might make struggles.
As long as your loving eyes meet,
nothing can stumble.

III

In each others hands,
heart and soul represent.
Like satin threads,
twisted to form a firm rope.
Your two souls become one,
by the ring both of you behold.
The prefect combination of a marriage,
more precious then gold.
